Your tasks:
- Care and management of laboratory animals before, during and after treatment
- Observation of the animals to ensure good health and early detection of diseases
- Administration of medicinal products and biological preparations
- Preparation, planning and implementation of research, development projects and further training in the area of responsibility OP
- Collection and documentation of project information
- Preparatory and follow-up activities in the functional rooms
- Assistance in carrying out diagnostic and hygienic measures, treatments and minor surgical procedures on laboratory animals
- Use & care of the provided working equipment in the animal and human operating theatre
- Laboratory activities - sampling & documentation
- Coordination of receipt and dispatch of diagnostic instruments and technology
- Audit of pharmacy and veterinary supplies inventories
- Support or maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Taking X-rays
- Contributing to the quality assurance of the company and reducing risks

What you should bring with you
- A completed training as a veterinary assistant
- Driving license class B or desirably class BE
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays for the well-being of their protégés
- Ability to work in a team and social competence
- Good knowledge of PCs, with common software in the office
- English - B2, German as a plus
